The Mey Generalbau Triathlon recently coursed through the heart of Tübingen drawing thousands of participants from near and far. The Ley and Angenent Labs were well-represented, with the most athletically-inclined joining forces to form “Team Microtriome”. From the Ley Lab, Liam undertook swimming duties and swam 750 meters of the Neckar River, Leonardo cycled his way through the countryside for 20 kilometers, while Stacey ran five kilometers through Tübingen’s historic old town. Fellow doctoral students Albane and Andrea were on-hand to provide superstar cheerleading support and a fantastic day was had by all. Go Ley Lab; go Microtriome!
