Absolutely great performance on the last MPI PhD Symposium

Congratulations to all doctoral students that presented their work, especially Andrea Borbon, Mirabeau Mbong, and Yihua Liu who were also recognized for the local MPI community among the finest. Andrea got the second place among the best posters presentations with her work on linking phylogeny to TLR5-related flagellins in gut microbiome. On the other hand, Mirabeau shone with his short-talk about Methanobrevibacter codiversification with human populations for which he got the second prize. And last but not least, Yihua was awarded as the best short-talk this year for his work about the ecological impact of M. smithii adhesion-like-proteins (ALPs) in gut microbiome.
