Last month, we celebrated the defense of Ley Lab PhD student, now postodoc, Liam Fitzstevens! He did an amazing job defending his thesis titled ‘Human gut microbes’ transmission, persistence and contribution to lactose tolerance’, and was awarded the highest accolade of Summa Cum Laude for his efforts.

All of us in the Ley Lab wish Liam much success going forward and good luck for all his future endeavours. Well done Liam!
