We are joined by two new post-doctoral associates, Sara DiRienzi and Sha Li. Sara is developing a project on microbial modulation of host metabolism, and Sha is working on interactions between the gut microbiota and immunity.
Zhao Jin presented her work on sequence-function relationships of metagenomes at the 2012 Advances in Genome Biology and Technology meeting in Florida.
A large fraction of the Ley lab (Tyler, Omry, Angela, Julia, Sara, Anders, Sha and Ruth) will be at the 2012 Keystone Microbiome meeting March 5-9 in Keystone, CO. Ruth is a co-Chair and speaker; Tyler, Omry, Angela and Julia are bringing posters and conducting a microbiome workshop. We’re excited to share our latest results!
